Global Missions Leadership Team
Why it's Important and What We Do: All Christians and churches are called to global missions. This mandate stems from Jesus' Great Commission, emphasizing an outreach to "all nations." Our responsibility is not a question of whether we participate, but rather how we engage.
Our team helps lead the way for BGC Partners to be involved in the greatest endeavor given to mankind - spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth! We achieve this by ideating, organizing educational and cross-cultural outreach events, managing short-term mission trips, and facilitating various opportunities for BGC to engage in global evangelism.
Duties of an Administrative Volunteer: Volunteers on our leadership team typically undertake tasks as and when needed. This might involve organizing and managing upcoming events. The role is not a consistent weekly commitment, but rather occasional, based on emerging needs. However, for those eager for more frequent involvement, there are ample opportunities to contribute!

Broadcast Team
Volunteers for the Broadcast Team manage the online broadcast of our Sunday service weekly. On scheduled Sundays, volunteers are asked to arrive by 8:30am and serve through the entirety of the service. Volunteers should be willing to be trained on software specific to the Broadcast function (camera control, streaming software, video editing, etc.). The team occasionally has need for some time outside the Sunday service for editing of content to be posted to the Internet, and periodic availability for non-Sunday BGC events requiring Broadcast support.
The Broadcast Team has need for at least 2 more volunteers.

Multimedia Team
Join the fun! Be the wizard behind the scenes, making Sunday worship seamless. Arrive at 8, mingle with the band, tweak slides, and test videos to create the perfect worship experience. Attend the pre-service pow-wow to sync up with the Sunday Producer, band, and pastors. During service, you're the slide guru, ensuring each song, announcement, and sermon shines on screen at just the right moment. We're scouting for two more volunteers to join our once-a-month superhero team. Be part of the magic!
The multimedia team diligently prepares and executes Sunday morning slides, ensuring that the congregation of BGC can engage in Sunday Worship without distractions. The multimedia presenter, on their designated Sundays, arrives at 8 AM to participate in the worship practice with the band. They work closely with the worship leader, making necessary adjustments to slides and words, and testing any videos or slides for the service. Additionally, the multimedia presenter attends the 9:45 AM pre-service meeting to discuss the service timeline with the Sunday Producer, band, and pastors. During the service, they meticulously follow each song, announcement, and sermon point, ensuring the appropriate slide is displayed on the screen at the right moment.

Guest Connections
The Guest Connections team at BGC plays a vital role in providing a warm, gracious, and comprehensive welcome to our guests. We currently have specific needs within the team:
We currently have specific needs within the team:
- Substitutes are needed at our Guest Connections table on Sundays.
- We require two team members to manage Guest Connections on fifth Sundays.
- Assistance is needed for the Newcomer Meet & Greet Support Team, which involves tasks such as event setup, food pick-up and delivery, replenishing food during the event, cleanup, and assisting with children's activities. This is an excellent opportunity for young people to participate and contribute.

Social Media Team
In 2024, few things are more crucial to an organization than its online presence. Social media serves as a vital tool for reaching out and nurturing individuals with the gospel. When we share event recaps, sermon snippets, etc., it often marks the first encounter outsiders have with BGC. Numerous partners have discovered us through platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Social media also offers another avenue to bolster our partners in the gospel, providing opportunities to encourage, inform, and engage with them. It's evident that consistency and variety in our posts are essential for a church, necessitating a dedicated team to thoughtfully and strategically manage this content.
The next step is to assemble a group of interested individuals to brainstorm and develop an effective strategy.
